we are looking for players. ummm can all you guys get an account for gamearena. its free and bigbond members dont pay twards there monthly downloald limit on it :D apply ther and im the battle field 2 ladder section and just book mark it. and if i can get atleast 16 guys i will start a krostech clan for us!

Game Times: That would be good Stretch. I start leave from 24/12/2005 until 13/01/2006. Most of the time I will be available will be at night between 9.00pm to midnight. Some times during the day (if the wife is not around). It all depends when you guys are available. I play mostly on INF servers and on the Wake Island sometimes. i play on the OGN Ranked server 2# SF Ip203.206.95.33 port 16567. No one in it during the day and a t night normaly only half full, but you get desent points and play out of it. Monday and Wensday nights i have officer stuff to do in Guild Wars so i cant play then but most other times are fine.

The name is STRETCH. TS sucks Rochie and me use Ventrilo alot clearer than TS. Why do you need TS in BF2 any way it has its own talking thing in it Press B.

nah its hopless. vent can only have 8 slots. TS has less lagg and is easiter to set up via ssl. tim does this web server hav ssl access?.

Vent can have a lot more than 8 in it 8 is the max for the Lan version. We have over 10 in vent alot of the time. 007 befor you say something find out what you are talking about first.

ok ok then you have to spend over $400 a year on a ventrilo server for more than 8 slots. because there is only one company in aus that you are able to get the more then 8 slot server off. they are called mammoth hosting. we clan7 use it because ET is to laggy on teamspeak if u have anything lower than 512k. YES i do know what im talking about. NOW back to my orginal question. Tim does this server have ssl access.

back to the original question: what games would the clan play?
bcus bf2 sucks, rts sucks and the only games i play online are counterstrike and other half-life mods, half-life 2 deathmatch and mods, sometimes source, and cal of duty 2.
and knowing the type of people who go to the lan, your against all valve games because of their revolutionary anti-priacy online content delivery system: Steam.

ok heres how cs works:
method 1:
i try to get a copy-over folder with everything in it already
(same style as the comp games last year)
method 2:
everyone installs
1. half life (2 mins)and 1.1.1.0 patch (1 min)
2. counterstrike 1.5 mod (2 mins)
3. additional maps (dont worry i have TRILLIONS)

its faster than damn battlefield 1942 lol!

method 2 will have to be used if reg keys are needed but it should be okay.

and steam isnt that hard to use. all you need to make sure is:
a) everyone buys it for 20 bucks
b) everyone has steam
c) dont play it if an update came out the night before.
see, if you play a map that someone doesnt have, they automatically leech it. (ut04-like, but faster)
