Next Rivers LAN

Event Details:
This LAN is run by Rivers Baptist Church and is not a KROSTech LAN. However KROSTech members are free to go and play as a clan together.
Raw War 2007 Begins on Saturday 3rd February – Rivers Baptist Church Hall – 90 Francis Road, Lawnton
Cost: $10 per person (females half-price)
BYO: powerboard and network cable (we have spares for hire for $1 ea)
Drinks & snacks are available inside.
Doors open 2:00pm
Free time from 2:00pm to 6:00pm (sorry guys and girls, no copying allowed).
6:00pm – break for pizza, announcements and chit-chat
6:30pm – Raw War 2007 begins with the Individual Racing event (V8 Supercars 3). If you need help installing your game, please see me as soon as you arrive.
7:30pm – The top 4 players based on last year’s results will select teams for the Shooting event (Counter-Strike Source V1.3 + map packs). This event carries individual and team points and teams are evened out so that everyone has a good game.
9:30pm – Team Racing event (V8 – 3) This will be a short event (prob 20-30mins) and players will be arranged by Wayne into teams of 2 on a handicap basis. This is a demolition-derby type of event and is a lot of fun.
10:00pm – Strategy event. Players may choose any strategy game they like and organize their own servers. However, the more players in a server, the more points you will score.
11:30pm – Pack up.
Hope to see you there. It’s a fun social afternoon / evening with some light-hearted comps thrown in. You don’t have to be any good to participate, you just need to love a fun time.
