RAW WAR 2006 Grand Final

This is it, folks, the Grand Final round of Raw War 2006.

Only 9 points separate the top 4 players, so come along and be a part of the excitement as we participate and watch them go tooth and nail against each other, all around us. We will all be playing so it will be like being a soldier in the middle of a battle being led by a general who must lead his platoon to victory.

The scoring will be the same as it has been all year and to help you enjoy watching the scoring battles unfold on the night, here’s a brief summary of where the scores currently stand and how they can be affected on the night. Remember that we only record your 4 best scores in each game over the year, so to improve your total, you need to improve your lowest score in each game.

V8 (2)
Players split into A & B servers according to previous results.
Last place in the B server scores 1 point. Second last scores 2 points, etc. all the way up to First place in the A server scoring around 15-20 points depending on how many people in the room.

Far Cry
Top 4 players overall shall be nominated as Team Captains. They shall then choose their teams from the remaining players in the room. Each team plays an assault map against each of the other teams, 15 minutes each way. Screen dumps to be taken after each game and forwarded to Wayne. Player scores on the winning team in each game are given large bonuses, so it is better to help your team win the map rather than concentrate on your own score.

Strategy
Straight after pizza, each player must nominate to Wayne which strategy game they will be playing later in the evening, otherwise their points may not count. This is to ensure that there is no “stacking” of servers.

If players are equal overall at the end of Grand Final night, their single biggest score in any game will be the first tie-breaker, then their next biggest score, etc.
