V8 Supercars 2 server preferences
From Wayne the tournament director comes this request for feedback:
After some thought and discussion I think I'll haven't decided if I will run A & B servers for V8 in the May Raw War. This will put all the drivers of the same standard in the same server. It should also reduce the intentional crashing by hopeless drivers taking out the leading cars.
The way it will work will be:
The best 12 racers (from results this year) that turn up will be in the A server, the rest will be in the B. I'll canvass everyone to see if they want collisions on or off and presumably the majority will prevail.
Scoring will be as normal, starting from the bottom of the B server, up to the top in A server. However, the top 3 in server B will be given 3 bonus points each to give them the opportunity to work their way into the A server next time.
I have put a poll up for the collisions on or off or forward only. Have your say!

As long as I can join a server with collisions off I'll be happy.
It looks like it will be an
It looks like it will be an even share. Half tracks collisions ON, half OFF. It's the only fair way to cater for everybody.
For all those that prefer
For all those that prefer collisions OFF, please make sure you've tried it with your current camera view. Some players notice that if you use view like headlight cam or bonnet cam, you lose sight of the track when over the top of another car.
Also, if the survey turns out to reasonably evenly spread, I'll run each server as half tracks collisions ON, and the other half OFF.
All comments to aid fairplay are welcome.

Can you see any votes for collisions on? Why are you doing half on half of? What is the use of a poll if you dont see the responce from it?
i agree with stretch - who
i agree with stretch - who actually wants collisions on?
All - (including
All - (including administrator) - let's be a little bit cool about this. Not everyone that comes to Raw War accesses the website. I've been compiling preferences by personal contact and it currently stands at Collisions ON: 5, Collisions OFF: 4, Don't Care: 3.
Clearly there is reasonable preference for both versions, so let's just enjoy the chance to play a game with a bunch of friends in the same room on a half-half basis.
