Just wondering how many people actually have a gigabit ethernet port in their box.
Might be bringing a gigabit switch along to the next LAN, if its ok..:)

Yeah be good, but it'll have
Yeah be good, but it'll have to be at the next LAN unfortunately as another event has popped up that I need to go to. Also, I have C&C the first decade, which is everything C&C, so we have a choice of what to play if we are using that. (I couldn't be bothered making a post in another thread):p
CYAs then hopefully
its out in aust already?!?
its out in aust already?!? must go get it!
I bought it at dick smith
I bought it at dick smith for $87 something. EB games in the city (both shops) had sold out of it early last week, but were selling it at $99.95 (I feel sorry for the poor people who think EB games is always the cheapest, and paid $12 more) Also, on the subject of file sharing over gigabit, I have Linux OS's on my computer (mostly VMware ones) that can be shared cause they are GNU'd. Also, I want to try filesharing while playing a game on gigabit, cause that is what most people get annoyed about, getting heaps of lag cause someone is leeching off them.
gigabit wont make your games
gigabit wont make your games run any faster its best used for file transfer. You dont need more then 100 megabit for gaming.
