Final call - your choice for Top Gun game for 2006

20 min is too long. 15 if using normal weapons, 10 if instagib, otherwise it just blurs.

Scoring would need to be percentage adjusted so that the map choice doesn't affect the score.

also - please take an average so that if you miss a really high scoring game you dont fall down the ladder
i.e.
your kills/everyones kills added up
so if i got 70 kills and there was total 430 kills i would score 70/430 or 0.16279
then x by 100 to make it easier
my final score: 163
this is the same score if someone got 140 kills out of 860, etc.
THIS IS A MUCH BETTER WAY TO SCORE - extremely FAIR!!!!!!
i would be happy to do the sums but its really just an extra row onto your scores spreadsheet

I have already reveiwed the scoring system for topgun and yes it will be a percentage based scoring system.
I will put it on the website later.

These Are My Thoughts

I also Reckon final scores should be added over the whole year so even the worst player has a chance to win top gun if thay turn up every month
instead of top gun going to a player that only has come twice in one year. that way it should also get more ppl along on a regular bassis
also i reckon it should be played instergib that way no other factors should apply eg, armor, adrenaline

^thats unfair wat about sickness, holidays etc.
someone get an insagib far cry mod :P

I'm planning on running it on a simliar basis to the RAW WAR comp scoring system.
Players will rank in each round using a a percentage result as to where they come in that round with a 1-100 percentile.
The best 4 results for each player will be added together for the year.
The best total result will be the winner.
