[img_assist|nid=462|title=|desc=|link=node|align=left|width=100|height=63]Crysis is one of the most beautiful games you'll see, set on a sunny tropical island, solid weapons, intelligent enemies and the nano-suit powers make this game a great ride. There is a huge level of action in the games which sees you juggling tasks, stealing vehicles while getting into the conflict. The game is constantly changing depending on what path you take, one time you might be dealing with an attack on a harbour next a ambush off the forest track, giving you a different experience every time. The ground even changes under your feet, one minute your walking through mud then suddenly the ground has turned to slush.
[img_assist|nid=461|title=|desc=|link=node|align=right|width=100|height=63]The nano-suit, a hi-tech armour suit that can be configured into various modes has some great functions. It'll recharge your energy, soak up damage & heal you, get you past your enemies when you've run out of ammo, move invisibly, run ridiculously fast, you can even punch Humvees to death.
[img_assist|nid=463|title=|desc=|link=node|align=left|width=100|height=63]The Crysis environment is pretty realistic too, it might take you awhile to notice it at first because it seems almost normal. The sun shines down & reflects off rocks long-polished, sunbeams filter through the trees and cast dappled shadows, vegetation flicks & moves. Branches shift as the enemy walks past, gunfights badly damage the vegetation. The jungle is alive. Even the explosions are more realistic, in most games stuff that should blow apart doesn't but here explosions cause trees to splinter, vehicles to fragment and buildings to collapse.
Overall Crysis is pretty complex with alot of variation in challenges and stages of development. There is some well designed gameplay with enough options to allow players to use their own style. For action fans out there I recommend you give this one a go.
